Hiya, I’m Anthony.
I’ve never quite known what to call myself.
“Marketer” as a title always seems a little vague - in fact it always makes me think of a meerkat for some reason.
When I’m not marketing or designing assets for theatre shows, events, or exhibitions, I’m found often burying myself in the world of horror, playing video games (Resident Evil and Tomb Raider), found hiking, or “up in the gym, just working on my fitness” (as famously sung by Fergie in Fergalious).
I’m proud of my wonderful Queerness, and love to support projects from Queer and Female artists.
I’m currently working on a three-part pulpy/horror project that I’ve lovingly titled All Gays Must Die. It’s if Resident Evil 7 was married to Resident Evil Revelations, but then had an affair with The Evil Within. I’ll leave that where it is for now, but hopefully there’ll be some more information on that as I progress.
My pronouns are he/him.
More on who I am…
As established, I’m a Lancashire-based Text Editor and Marketer with over a decade’s experience text editing and creating marketing campaigns for arts and cultural venues. Whether it’s been museums, art galleries, or theatres; I’ve worked on exhibitions and events with artists including Academy Award-Winning Agnès Varda, Wu Tsang, Ryoichi Kurokawa, Invisible Flock, Bruce Nauman, Rick Wakeman, Ericka Beckman, and more.
Previous companies and project partners include: Oldham Coliseum Theatre, Curtins, FACT Liverpool, ARTIST ROOMS, Blaze Arts, LCR Pride, Arts at CERN, Preston City Council, Lancashire County Council, and The Dukes Lancaster.
I currently work for the award-winning Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens in Lytham St Annes as the Head of Marketing. It’s here where I’ve played a key role in making the organisation flourish into a £2 million turnover charity.
